Terrazzo Bathroom

Residential apartment located in Blacktown.

Client Brief/Requirements:  

• Working win a team to collaboratively resolve a design for a live client. 

• Time-sensitive project with an exquisite and functional design. 

• The client's personality is reflected in the space. 

Concept and Features:  

This was a group project for a live client.  My group decided to allocate one room to each of us to design under one concept and aesthetic to help with the time sensitivity of the project. For the design of the Bathroom and Laundry wet areas the wall between the separate toilet and laundry has been combined to maximise space. The soft colourful terrazzo tiles spread across both rooms to suit the client's bright personality. Matte white Newport tiles have been chosen for the walls to make the floor tiles the design's main feature. Natural textured timber vanity and floating shelves create a balance between hard and soft finishes.
