Pre-design Condition:

‘The Adnate’ 27 Storey building was developed by Campion Design Group Pty Ltd in 2019 and supported by 800 thick rafts.

Client Brief/Requirements:

  • Design the new Art Series Hotel located in Perth for the Mantra Group.

  • Deliver an interior design solution for the entrance of the hotel and three guest suites.

  • Reflect Australian artist, Vania Lawson's artistic characteristics in the design. The display has landscape artwork throughout the hotel.

Concept and Features:

Vania Lawson’s methods of creating unique landscape artworks with the use of brush strokes, layering techniques and patience have instilled the concept of Slowing Down. The hotel reflects this through calming elements such as the feature waterfall on the ground level, and textured materials around the reception desk and main bar. The Scandinavian colour scheme infuses the feeling of being a part of the landscape you are looking at in Vania’s artworks.
